Where to Start

For current Fayette County jail custody, start with VINELink Illinois and the Fayette County Sheriff's Office/Jail. For formal jail or sheriff records that are not online, use the sheriff's FOIA contact. Court-file questions go to the Circuit Clerk or Judici, while prosecution and victim-witness issues are handled through the State's Attorney.
